HES programmes positively impact lives! We bring parents and children together using sport and education as a tool to improve health and attainment for children and to give parents a stake in society. Our holistic approach connects parents and children with ourselves and other organisations to create a community with better health, opportunities for self -improvement and more employment opportunities.
Community based approach
Our approach is community centred and designed to break down major barriers that families within our communities are facing.
Opportunities
Our programmes allow people to upskill themselves, improve physical and mental wellbeing and increase employability. Our sports programmes provide opportunities for parents and their children to get active together, improving their mental and physical wellbeing and reducing health inequalities. We offer a range of accredited courses in the Education and Sport sector to enable people to self-develop by gaining qualifications. Once qualified we continue to provide support by offering options and routes into employment.
Relationships
Together we are stronger! We pride ourselves on building strong, positive relationship with other organisations. We partner with local authorities, charities, companies and schools. At HES we appreciate that together we can have a bigger impact for the good of our communities.

Accredited Qualifications
We have a range of accredited qualifications that we offer to support young people and families in their self-development and career aspirations. The qualifications we deliver enable people to gain a sound knowledge within the Education and Sport industries and increase their chances of finding work in schools. All of our courses are accredited by NCFE/CACHE.
our schools
At HES we work alongside schools to target families in need of support. Together we identify the need within school communities and deliver the relevant programme or qualification to gain maximum impact within that community. We also offer sport and PE services as well as wraparound care.
Sports provision
Through our sports provision we work with schools to deliver programmes over the school holidays and during term time to engage children in activities that will get them active and teach them about nutrition. We deliver school sports clubs, PE lessons, mentoring programmes, camps, CPD for teachers and workshops.
Education
We work with schools to identify families who can gain accredited qualifications through us within the education sector and deliver qualifications as a means of self-development to them. From this point we then utilise our relationships with schools to support parents in finding employment within the industry.
